eSports, one of the most popular and fastest growing sports in the world will be offered this fall at Carl Albert State College both in Sallisaw and at the Poteau campuses, CASC President Jay Falkner announced Wednesday at the monthly Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce meeting.

Falkner said CASC will be the first two-year junior college in the state of Oklahoma to offer eSports, short for electronic sports, which are team-based video game competitions watched live by many online and as spectators in the eSports arenas throughout the world.
